Its dedication is well known in the Western Dance world, and it's techniques are used by most dancers and especially those that compete

NTA was started in the 1980's by a group of dedicated dancers who realized that you needed a structured set of movement for all parts of your body from the feet(foot positions) through to hands, body (CBM) head (spotting), one of the main people involved with it was Ms Kelly Gellette and later became and still is the president of the NTA.

Kelly

Kelly Gellette is a tireless person when it comes to the NTA, helping to organise and produce the monthly NTA newsletter, with members worldwide this is no mean task to take on, but it is produced and dispatched without fail on time and to the correct address's.

The
D&G School with Kelly Gellette's permission restructured the school in 1994 to take on board the NTA syllabus as part of there training program, this syllabus is also recognized and used by the U.C.W.D.C. 'United Country and Western Dance Council' who are the organizers of the World Dance Championships and World Line Dance Championships.
