Dick and Geneva Matteis established the school in 1984 after the late Bob Chappel met Dick & Geneva in the U.S.A. Bob Chappel invited them to demonstrate this NEW STYLE of dancing in the U.K., that was in 1984. The following year Dick and Geneva began the first school in Great Britain for Western Dance Instructors. The current directors (Anne & Brian Bambury) took office in 1994 and restructured it to become an Organisation in 1995 with the development of D&G Info Lines Bi-Monthly magazine, and growing to it's renowned status that it stands for today throughout the dancing world.
